The nervous system is the elaborate communication network to all body functions. Where communication can travel over nerves freely (no interferences), then the body can function optimally. But, subluxations (rotations or even slight shifts in one or more spinal vertebrae) can slow down or stop that communication to vital parts of the nervous system that affect muscle function, joint mobility, and even organ function. A subluxation (misalignment) may not show up as pain. The communication between the brain and the nervous system must exchange a wide variety of messaging, of which only 10% is pain. This can leave room for dysfunction in many unrecognizable forms to a patient.

By conducting non-invansive nerve and muscle/strength testing, palpating and assessing structural changes, and in some instances, taking digital X-rays, we can then correct the identified misalignments (subluxations) in the spine with techniques we call specific adjustments. We aim to remove any interference in the nervous system that is producing the pain and other symptoms. It really is that simple…and that effective!

The core aim of all chiropractic care is to revive the body’s natural ability to self-heal, allowing you to reach your optimal health potential.

Dr. Jim graduated in 1996 from Life University, College of Chiropractic, following the University of Pittsburgh. He has spent the last 20+ years positively affecting the health and wellness of many patients in Pennsylvania and Colorado through the natural approach of Chiropractic care. He has witnessed how regular spinal manipulations have restored communication to the nervous system (and other internal systems affected by the nervous system) by removing the interferences (subluxations) that cause pain and dysfunction. He uses a variety of techniques based on a patient’s condition and approaches each case with a goal to get the body to reach its potential.
